It was moved by Commissioner Stewart, seconded by Commissioner Pavlica to postpone indefinitely the amendment to revert the food licensing and inspection fees back to what it was before it changed in December, 2007 for up to one year or until the related bill passes the State Legislature to the original motion to consider waiving non-profit/non-revenue organizations from restaurant inspection fees. Motion carried.

Which means - no relief for our church that serves hungry people every Saturday for free....

This is just immoral and downright slimy.

Am I the only one that can't make sense out of that motion?

No, I ranted on it yesterday. Quite a bit.

Though I did take out the graph where I linked George Pichette directly to the increase in hungry people and infant mortality.

and a very good rant you did on it, too. This is just so sinful and I have to completely agree with you. WHEN THE HE!! DID THESE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EVER WORRY ABOUT ACTING WITHIN THE LAW???
They thumb their noses at us all the time, "HA-HA catch us if you can. Take us to court." There is nothing in the law that says they must charge the same. It just isn't there.

I was, however, talking about the wording of the motion.
Can you actually read that and make sense of it?

Does it seem like whenever they do something particularly heinous they manage to word it in such a way that it is damn near impossible to figure out what they did? Just another sneaky way to keep people from knowing what is going on.
